Audiences were treated to a display of talent at Gegar with CUCKOO, CUCKOO’s 4th anniversary celebration at Wisma MBSA, Shah Alam, as five contestants from Gegar Vaganza 5 took to the stage to prove their worth in becoming CUCKOO Friend 2019.

The artists; Hetty Sarlene, Noryn Aziz, Maya, Forteen and Zamani are chosen among the 12 Gegar Vaganza 5 contestants by the public via an online voting process.

The second phase of the voting process has already begun, and it is up to the public to decide which among the five finalists shall become CUCKOO Friend 2019 by casting their vote on CUCKOO’s website by 17 November.

The five contestants each brought their ‘A’ game to win the audiences’ hearts through a mission to record themselves describing which CUCKOO product best represents themselves and why they should be the one to earn the title of CUCKOO Friend 2019.

The artists’ choices and the characteristic of the chosen product are; Hetty Sarlene as CUCKOO C+ (Air Purifier) for being vital to life; Noryn Aziz as CUCKOO Inductrio (Induction Hob) for strength from within; Maya as CH10 (Pressure Multi-Cooker) for being multi-talented; Forteen as Prince Top (Water Purifier) for regal charisma; and Zamani as Icon (Water Purifier) for timeless style.

Then, CUCKOO Malaysia chief executive officer, KC Hoe, accompanied by CUCKOO Indonesia chief executive officer, Toh Seng Lee; Domestic sales director, Mak Wai Hoong; Marketing director, Queenie Goh; and Operations director, Benny Tan, the top management team, the sales organisation, and the service team, were ushered to the stage for a cake-cutting ceremony celebrating CUCKOO Malaysia’s 4th anniversary.

To conclude the event, the five contestants united onstage with CUCKOO Friend cum 988-DJ Danny One and sung CUCKOO’s theme song, which he wrote and composed, together, additionally, Danny also sang a solo rendition of his signature song “Siapa”.

Konsert Gegaran CUCKOO will be on the TV screens of viewers at home on 17 November, 9:30pm on Astro Ria.
