Realme Malaysia, a smartphone brand that goes by the tagline Proud to be Young, released its realme 3 smartphone.

“The realme series has already sold more than 5 million units worldwide.

“As the lastest product in the realme series, realme 3 leads the charge for the brand into 2019 and builds on the success of realme 2 Pro and realme C1.

“Realme 3 represents how we continue to comprehensively upgrade performance and design, bringing new products and experiences to young consumers and why we are their undisputed first choice in our price segment,” said realme  Malaysia brand manager, Tiffany Teh.

In conjunction with the launch of the realme 3, realme Malaysia has collaborated with Lazada Malaysia for its 7th Birthday sale on March 27, to offer exclusive discount for the realme 3 with 3GB RAM + 33 GM ROM.

“We are happy that realme has chosen to continue their growth in the Malaysian market by partnering with Lazada.

“Having realme onboard with us offering deals exclusive to Lazada’s 7th Birthday Sale allows us to provide our shoppers with trendy, accessible technology at great price points.

The realme 3 has also upgraded on its screen based off the realme 2, from a notch screen to a dewdrop screen with a screen ration of as high as 88.3 per cent.

Performance-wise the realme 3 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P60 processor which used TSMC’s latest 12nm FinFET process technology, consuming 15 per cent less power.

The realme 3’s battery is a 4230mAh high capacity battery which combined intelligent power-saving functions for high endurance performance.

Realme 3 introduces the Nightscape mode that enhances the camera’s usability in dark conditions while also controlling noise to enhance the overall clarity of the photo.

The Chroma Boost mode is also introduced for its camera that optimises scenes, increase overall dynamic range of photos, more details in highlights and shadows and give a balanced exposure.

As part of its efforts to continue working with young students across Malaysia, realme will be holding its inaugural Young Talent contest from March 21 to April 8, to provide their creative interpretation of “Who is realme?” and “How do you define Young” in the form of submissions via videos, photos and art.

This contest is open to Malaydian students from Sunway University, University Malaya, One Academy, INTI University and Management & Science University (MSU) who will have the chance to take home prizes in the form of realme 2 Pro smartphones.

The realme 3 is available in two versions which are 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, in three colours; Classic Black, Dynamic Black and Radiant Blue.

Customers who purchase realme 3 with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM from Lazada on its flash sales on March 27 will get it at a special price of RM549.

Customers can also purchase from realme dealers across Malaysia from April 6 at the starting price of RM599 for realme 3 with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, while the realme 3 with 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM will be available at the starting price of RM699.
