Learning Port Sdn Bhd, the innovative education provider behind the digital learning platform MyGuru, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amanie Care Foundation (ACF) to deliver educational assistance to 200 students from the B40 community. This collaboration reflects a mutual commitment to ensuring that these students gain access to digital learning, specifically designed to improve their academic performance in preparation for their SPM examinations.
MyGuru is a digital education platform that covers the full spectrum of subjects for Year 1 to Form 5 students. Its bilingual content, available in both Bahasa Melayu and English, is closely aligned with the latest national education syllabi (KSSR and KSSM), offering a learning experience that integrates critical thinking skills (KBAT) and promotes STEM education. Through MyGuru, students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, enhancing classroom-based lessons with digital tools that allow for independent study.
Datin Shairin Sharif, CEO of Learning Port Sdn Bhd, said, “We believe that digital tools, when used effectively, can be a transformative force in education. At Learning Port, we aim to provide students with the resources they need to become more independent and engaged learners."
"MyGuru is designed not to replace traditional learning, but to enhance it by encouraging critical thinking and self-learning in a structured, supportive environment." she added.
Through this collaboration with Learning Port, ACF will provide 200 Form 4 and Form 5 students from B40 families with full access to MyGuru’s online platform. The students will benefit from a total of 17 months of free access. This programme will cover 10 subjects such as Malay Language, English Language, Mathematics, History, Islamic Studies, Moral Studies, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology—each crucial for students preparing for their SPM examinations.
“At Amanie Care Foundation, we are deeply committed to providing educational support to B40 students, ensuring they have equal opportunities to succeed. This collaboration with Learning Port Sdn Bhd is a significant step in that direction. By offering access to high-quality digital learning resources, we aim to equip these students with the tools they need to excel in their SPM examinations and, more importantly, to build a brighter future for themselves. We are proud to be part of this meaningful initiative and hope to continue supporting the educational needs of underserved communities.” said Razi Pahlavi Abdul Aziz, CEO of Amanie Care Foundation.
This MoU reflects a joint effort between Learning Port and ACF to address the educational challenges faced by students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. By giving these students access to MyGuru’s comprehensive educational content, the initiative aims to help bridge the digital divide and ensure that no student is left behind in their pursuit of academic excellence.
