CelcomDigi Berhad (CelcomDigi) is the first company in Malaysia to be awarded the prestigious ISO 45003: Psychological Health and Safety at Work certification, a global standard guideline focused on managing psychological health and safety risks in the workplace. This milestone underscores CelcomDigi’s dedication to cultivate a workplace where employees feel supported, valued, and equipped to thrive personally and professionally. 

Prior to this achievement, the company had already attained the ISO 45001 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management. Having both certifications reflect the company’s holistic approach in caring for its employees’ wellbeing, with equal emphasis on psychological and physical safety. CelcomDigi’s adoption of this standard also reflects its ambition to raise the safety bar across its value chain, underpinned by the belief that fostering a safer, healthier workplace is a shared responsibility, extending safety practices to include partners within its operating ecosystem.

National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Malaysia’s Executive Director, Hj. By becoming the first organisation in Malaysia to achieve the globally recognised ISO 45003:2021 certification, awarded on 14 October 2024 by NIOSHCert, CelcomDigi has set a benchmark for the corporate sector. This achievement reflects its steadfast leadership in safeguarding mental wellbeing, implementing robust management practices, and continuously improving processes to create a supportive and productive work environment.

CelcomDigi’s ISO 45003 accreditation reflects the company’s deeply embedded safety culture, rooted in proactive care, continuous improvement, and industry-leading standards. The ISO 45003 and ISO 45001 are part of the ISO 45000 family of standards developed by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). Combining these standards enables organisations to identify and control employees’ physical and psychological risks, resulting in a safer and healthier work environment.
