Kerjaya Prospek Group Berhad’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd accepted a letter of award worth RM280 million from HCK Builders Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of HCK Capital Group Berhad.

The letter of award was for undertaking the main building works for a proposed project located at Lot 74746, Persiaran Subang Permai, Subang Jaya, Mukim Damansara, Daerah Petaling, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

The proposed project to be rebranded Edumetro comprises the construction of four towers on a three storey podium and four storey basement.

The construction works of the project will take approximately 28 months from its scheduled commencement on April 1 and it is targeted for completion by July 31 2021.

This follows the takeover of Remix 2 by HCK Builders as its new developer with its handover to HCK by the original developer.

HCK Capital Group through its subsidiary Aspen Entity Sdn. Bhd. has last month also awarded a contract of RM155 mil to Kerjaya for the construction of three blocks comprising 800 units of residential suites at Edusphere at Cyberjaya.

The controlling shareholder of the HCK is Tan Seri Clement Hii, he is also SEG International Bhd’s group managing director.

“This is our second project from HCK and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for giving us the privilege to work with them again.

“We are very delighted to have secured another project for 2019 in such a quick succession which brings our total contract wins for 2019 to RM435.0 million and our total outstanding order book to approximately RM3.3 billion.

“With that in mind, the Group will continue to work hard and execute our ongoing projects to deliver sustainable earnings and create value for our shareholders,” said Kerjaya executive chairman, Datuk Tee Eng Ho.
