BAHTERA 2017 (Southern Edition), is a program targeted towards grooming Bumiputera entrepreneurs was launched recently by Chief Minister of Johor, Datuk Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin and witnessed by the Secretary General of Treasury, Ministry of Finance Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Irwan Serigar bin Abdullah.
This program is cultivated by the Ministry of Finance along with the National Entrepreneurs Development Office (NEDO), Unit Pembangunan Ekonomi Johor (UPENJ) and Johor Entrepreneur Development Center (EDC) which will be held for two days starting on 14 October 2017 to 15 October 2017.
Dubbed as the "Bumipreneurs of Tomorrow", this program will help develop entrepreneurs who are prepared to expand their businesses both locally and internationally. Concurrently, Bumiputera entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to devise a more effective and responsive marketing strategy to the dynamics of the marketplace in both online and offline.
The segments of BAHTERA 2017 (Southern Edition) comprises workshops like the Talk Show Zone; Entrepreneurs Guidance Zone; Learning Zone; Opportunity Zone; Pitching Zone and exhibition.
BAHTERA 2017 (Southern Edition) is accompanied with stars in the Talk Show Zone, including actor; Fattah Amin, South East Asia record holder; Khairul Hafiz 'SPEEDY' Jantan, leadership guru; Datuk Faridah Hanim, commonly known as Ibu Hanim, Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) Chief Executive Officer; Ashran Dato' Ghazi, Mary Jardin founder; Dr Maryam Aziz and CEO Rina Salleh Malaysia; Rina Salleh.
