The VERITAS Design Group has returned once again with another Veritas Lecture Series (VLS) #12 entitled “People Property and Place”.
The lecture series was founded in 2007 as a one-day event that delivers a lecture or series of talks.

The lecture series was founded in 2007 as a one-day event that delivers a lecture or series of talks.
Just like its original main objective the 12th series also presented useful industry information and unique learning experiences for VERITAS clients about subjects of relevance to the design and property development industry.
The VLS event is a yearly event that touches on architecture and design related subjects.
The event started off with a few words by Veritas chief executive officer and founder, David Mizan Hashim.
Then it proceeded with the keynote speaker, Minister of Federal Territories Khalid Samad who touched about the “Public Realm in New Malaysia” before moving on towards the other speakers.
Speaking at the VLS were Art Printing Works (APW) chief executive officer, Ee Soon Wei who presented the topic of “Responding to Limitations - a Grounded Approach to Adaptive Reuse”; Propetypricetag.com chief executive officer, Cha-Ly Koh who talked about “Shaping Cities with Big Datas”; Freeform chief executive officer, Adrian Yap breached the topic of “the Future of Retail: from Transactional to Experimental”; KL City Hall deputy senior director, Norzaini Nordin who touched on “Kuala Lumpur: the Road not Taken”; and VERITAS Design Group principal Lillian Tay who spoke on “the New Civic Spirit: Public Spaces for the 21st Century”.
Among the special guests were Kuala Lumpur mayor, Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan and City Hall director of Planning, Datuk Hj. Mahadi Che Ngah.
