The event saw the attendance of James E. Thompson, Founder and Chairman of Crown Worldwide Group, Ken Madrid, Group CEO of Crown Worldwide Group and Leon Hulme, Managing Director of Crown Worldwide Group Malaysia, as well as stakeholders from a range of industries.

The facility in Iskandar Puteri is a world-class records centre, with innovative features such as:
- a thermal skin around the building to protect the contents against heat and humidity naturally
- a natural airflow system within the facility
- a radiant heat barrier roof
- rain water harvesting tanks
- LED lighting on timers with power-saving sensors
- secure site access to all parts of the facility
- 24-hour infrared motion detection camera surveillance both internal and external
- 24-hour on-site security
- health and safety systems and processes of the very highest standards
The new facility adds to Crown Worldwide’s six facilities in Malaysia, spread across Shah Alam, Enstek, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Johor. The 2,600m2 first phase of the new facility grows Crown Records Management’s capacity in Malaysia to approximately over 4 million cartons of customer documents.
