To date our combined contract wins are approximately RM128 million, with RM38 million secured from January to May 2023. This includes jobs from an integrated resort, data centres and variation orders from existing projects in Singapore and Malaysia. This positions us as one of the market leaders in the local energy efficiency scene.
As we move forward, we are confident that these recent achievements will pave the way for even more positive results for the Group as we ride the green economy theme.”
Managing Director of Measurement & Verification Pte Ltd Mr Steven Kang(江文良) said:
Being awarded contracts by these reputable companies is groundbreaking and a game changer for our aspiration to be a reputable data centre and energy solution provider in Malaysia.
The control system for a large-scale data centre is like the brain and nervous system for a human, a very critical and complex system that must be fail safe. Only a highly competent engineering company with a proven track record can be trusted to design, build and maintain the control system of a large data centre. Our successful track record in delivery fail safe control system in many data centres in Singapore is a key factor in positioning us as the top energy solution provider for data centres.
With these projects as a springboard, M&V is in good stead to make good progress in helping Malaysia grow data centres services reliably and also sustainably.
M&V has been actively tendering for contracts since the gradual recovery of Malaysian economy from COVID-19 in an effort to expand its business in Malaysia after achieving success in Singapore.
PRG is primarily engaged in the property development, construction, manufacturing, and agriculture businesses. The company also expanded into the Energy Efficiency business by acquiring Singapore-based Energy Solution Global Limited, a new energy savings company, in 2021 through its 50.45%-owned subsidiary, Furniweb Holdings Limited.
