RAWANG: Sagarena Sdn Bhd continues to take strides in the latest development in Kundang, Selangor. This time, the company is embarking on the construction of shop offices and a supermarket, which will serve as a vibrant hub for dynamic business activities, aligning with the diverse needs of various industries.
Thorough this project, Econsave and Sagarena Sdn Bhd have formed a collaborative partnership based on a commercial building lease agreement. Phase 1 of the project will witness the development of 46 meticulously designed, two-storey shop office units.
Phase 2 of the project will involve the construction of Econsave on a vast land area spanning2.394 acres while Phase 3 is planned for future development on a 3-acre land area consisting of 360 serviced apartment. The project, currently under development along Jalan Kampung Baru, Sri Kundang, Rawang, Selangor, is poised to become a premier residential and commercial hub in the state.
The three-phase development project involves a Gross Development Value (GDV) totaling RM222 million.
The project enjoys a strategic location along a major highway, approximately 37 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur and 2.5 kilometers from the town of Kundang. It also benefits from easy access to other highways, including the main LATAR and GUTHRIE expressways.
The developing area is also in close proximity to various on-going development projects such as Myra Garden by Adenland as well as Scientex and Gamuda Garden.
The groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony on July 10, 2023, will be officiated by Adam Tay, the Managing Director of Sagarena, and Darshan R, Executive Director and Shareholder of Sagarena. Joining them will be Chang Nyen Wee, Executive Director of Sagarena, and Lai Sia Ling, Executive Director of Econsave Cash & Carry Sdn Bhd.
Adam is currently managing several multimillion-Ringgit development projects, such as Tulip Residence (GDV RM250 million) and Primont Residence, Taman Nilai Perdana (GDV RM85 million).
Darshan said the commercial development aims to create a holistic living and working environment that encompasses modern lifestyle choices.

Kundang Business Centre will serve as the primary access point for local residents as well as a stopping point for visitors from outside Kundang due to its convenient location at about 1.5 kilometers away from the highway.
