The Fund aims to provide income whilst preserving capital on maturity date.

MDV Releases Yearly Review

Grooves received an investment worth USD$920k (approximately RM3.78 million) from PNB-INSPiRE Ethical Fund (PIEF) to connect talents within Malaysia and other ASEAN countries to job opportunities in Japan.

This strategic investment will help Grooves to expand its services globally to cater to the ASEAN market, starting with Malaysia.

Three major airline companies and Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) have agreed to come together with the Ministry of Primary Industries to promote Malaysian palm oil and provide a further boost to the ministry-initiated “Love MY Palm Oil” campaign.

The four players, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), Malaysia Airlines Bhd, Malindo Airways Sdn Bhd and AirAsia Bhd, have expressed this during  meetings with minister of Primary Industries, Teresa Kok when she met them to inform about her aspirations and plans to promote palm oil.

PRefChem Achieves Start-Up of Refinery

Pengerang Refining and Petrochemical (PRefChem) achieved a significant milestone when it commenced the start-up of its refinery with the firing up of the Complex’s Crude Distillation Unit (CDU).

With a refining capacity of 300,000 barrels of crude per day, the PRefChem refinery will produce a range of refined petroleum products, including gasoline and diesel upon completion, which will also meet Euro 5 fuel specifications.

Muehlbauer Technologies announced that the company is donating RM200,000 worth of automation integrated systems known as the Beckhoff mock-up units from its Melaka operations to the Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Universiti Technical Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) and the German Malaysian Institute (GMI).

Budding data wizards, coding ninjas and digital disruptors were discovered at CIMB Group’s inaugural 3D Conquest – a hackathon-style competition open to university students across ASEAN.

Three teams were crowned Champions in their respective categories of Data Science, Fintech and Coding at the Grand Finale recently.
