Seiko Epson Corporation (Epson) and Epson Singapore Pte. Ltd. have announced the establishment of a new sales subsidiary and office in Vietnam. The new subsidiary, Epson Vietnam Co., Ltd. (EVNL), began operations on April 1, 2018.

Prior to the launch of Epson Vietnam, Epson had previously sold products in Vietnam through its sales subsidiary in Thailand and had in 2010 established a Vietnam representative office focused on market research.

As the official  smartphone sponsor, Vivo will be reaching out to local fans of the largest competition through a series of initiatives. 

Vivo announced its agreement with International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to sponsor the FIFA World Cup for six years in May 2017, covering two tournament cycles where Vivo will become the official sponsor of the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup, as well as FIFA Confederations Cup. 

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has named Datuk Zainal Izlan Zainal Abidin as the SC’s new deputy chief executive (DCE) effective April 5. 

In a statement, the SC said, Zainal will be replacing Datuk Ahmad Fairuz Zainol Abidin who completed his contract at the SC on 31 March, following his appointment as a judicial commissioner.
